Founders and team
Inas
Inas Nureldin is a co-founder and co-CEO of Tomorrow. He is the mind behind the original idea for Tomorrow, which emerged from a simple question: What do conventional banks actually do with our money—and how can it be done better? Sustainable finance and the founding of Tomorrow in 2018, together with Michael Schweikart and Jakob Berndt, was the answer.
Even before Tomorrow, Inas was an entrepreneur. He founded "Muddy Boots," a company that brings transparency to the food industry's supply chains. With his team in Cairo, Germany, and England, he connected small-scale farmers around the world with international traders. Utilizing technology to create a positive impact has been his focus for some time.
"Tomorrow was born out of the realization that you can't negotiate with the planet. We must use money for positive change—and we can do that."
Michael
Michael Schweikart is a co-founder and co-CEO of Tomorrow.
Previously, he worked as a Corporate Finance Consultant at Concentro Management AG before co-founding and building up MigrantHire & Jobs 4 Refugees, organizations that help refugees enter the job market through an online platform. He has long been driven by the question of how to make a difference while organizing processes in a lean and effective manner. This experience has been instrumental in shaping Tomorrow from the very beginning.
"Every euro that is in an account today, spent, or invested, determines what our future will look like. We are doing our part to ensure it will be a livable one for everyone."
Jakob
Jakob Berndt is a co-founder and co-CEO of Tomorrow.
Before Tomorrow, Jakob was already an entrepreneur, co-founding and leading the social business "Lemonaid & ChariTea" until 2017. At Lemonaid & ChariTea, they successfully combined development cooperation, culinary arts, and contemporary culture, winning numerous awards in the process. For many years, Jakob has been dedicated to entrepreneurship that offers social value, combining the complex issue of sustainability with a product that meets real needs.
"Money doesn’t have to leave a trail of destruction; it is a tool with immense positive potential—we all have the power to decide how we use it."
